Hunger Studies.

Challenge

A faculty member who adopted online learning early wanted to rejuvenate their course.

Objective

Perform content analysis on hours of video to develop a more engaging, less passive course that incorporates service learning

Solution

Using beautiful visual design and storytelling, Auburn Online and the Hunger Solutions Institute developed a completely redesigned online course that can also serve as an e-textbook at other institutions

Details

Auburn Online designed an aesthetically pleasing and engaging course for HUSC 2000 (Hunger: Causes, Consequences, and Responses). Throughout the course, the students are given an opportunity to interact with the course material and practice important skills. Auburn Online also expanded the audience of the course by offering it to professionals working in the field and providing it in the form of e-book.
