Competitive Grant Partner.

Challenge

AU Plasma team was part of the EPSCoR grant awardees and tasked with designing and delivering a Spectral Diagnostics course to reach a statewide audience.

Objective

Develop a course for plasma diagnostics that can be delivered to students at other institutions across the State of Alabama and professionals in the field across the globe, and meet NSF grant reporting timelines and guidelines

Solution

Auburn Online and the EPSCoR faculty at Auburn created an interactive learning experience for Spectral Diagnostics.

Details

Auburn Online designed the course using illustrative case studies, interactive exercises, and self-assessments. The course intends to develop the skills in the non-academic professionals and graduate students regarding the subject.

Auburn Online utilized the Canvas Catalog platform to deliver the course to students at nine institutions across the State of Alabama. The course is currently available as a self-paced, self-guided course for professionals in the field who can incorporate spectral diagnostics to improve their business processes.

The “Introduction to Spectral Diagnostics” course is available online via Auburn Online Canvas Catalog.
